Understand your PC. Find what's consuming your resources.
Investigate memory growth, inspect process relationships, track background activity, and review developer build artifacts—all from one Windows utility designed for developers.
- Local-first monitoring
- Explicit approval for supported actions
- Developer-focused diagnostics

The resource picture in one place
See CPU, memory, disk and best-effort GPU usage beside the processes responsible. Values are sampled locally and unavailable metrics are shown honestly.

local historyBefore/after memory observations are estimates, not guarantees of recovered RAM.
Interface previews use simulated example values. Product behavior is implemented in the Windows desktop build.
Process intelligence
A process table with a safety boundary.
Search, sort and group every process, then inspect parent-child evidence, protection classes and identity details. The Rust backend owns the policy; the interface cannot override it.
- Every enumerated process counted locally
- Approval tokens bound to PID, creation time and path
- Protected and review-required processes stay marked

Memory leak investigation
Investigate growth without calling every rise a leak.
Bound the observation window, compare per-process history, and review confidence and caveats. RamBeacon surfaces sustained growth and spikes as evidence for investigation, not a confirmed diagnosis.
- 5, 15, 30 and 60-minute windows

How it works
Inspect. Understand. Approve.
Inspect
Observe resource usage, processes, background activity and startup entries. Monitoring stays on the device.
Understand
Review process relationships, historical samples and findings. Evidence is presented with its limits.
Approve
Review the preview and explicitly authorize a supported action. Nothing is terminated automatically.
A recommendation does not authorize an action. Supported actions still require the approval flow enforced by the desktop application's Rust backend.
For developers
Built around the tools already on your machine.
No IDE extension, container API or framework plugin is required. RamBeacon observes the Windows process and port surface those tools create—and states the limits.
Next.js and Node.js
See the dev server, compiler, language server and test runner as separate processes with their own cost.
React and MERN
Follow browser, Electron and Node process families without flattening them into unrelated rows.
VS Code and IDEs
Inspect extension hosts, language servers and terminal children. No IDE extension is required.
Flutter and React Native
Review Gradle, Dart, Metro, adb and emulator processes. Dev Servers lists listening ports.
Docker and WSL
Observe the Windows processes and ports these tools expose. Container internals are not inspected.
Local AI development
Track long-running model runtimes. Optional AI explanations stay advisory and cannot authorize actions.
Privacy and trust
Your monitoring history stays on your PC.
The licensing backend exists to sell and activate a license. It is not a telemetry pipeline for your process list, file paths or cleanup history.
Local system data
Process names, paths, resource history, watchlist rules and cleanup records stay in the local SQLite store.
Limited activation data
The server receives a license-scoped HMAC hash of a client-generated device identifier, a label, edition and version—not raw hardware fingerprints.
Payment references
Razorpay handles card data. RamBeacon stores payment references and verification state, never card numbers or CVVs.
Optional AI processing
AI is opt-in. The OpenRouter key stays in Windows Credential Manager, and model output cannot execute an action.
Pricing
One purchase. No automatic renewal.
Annual license
One year of RamBeacon Pro from successful payment. Expires at the end of the term and does not auto-renew.
- Full desktop feature set
- Up to 2 active devices
- 7-day offline lease grace

Lifetime license
Perpetual entitlement to the v1 edition. v1.x updates are included while v1 is supported; future major versions are not promised.
