Application watchlist
Watch the applications that matter to your workflow.
Some applications matter more than others. A browser crossing 8 GB during a test run is different from a background helper crossing 300 MB. The watchlist lets you define local rules per application and see the state without scanning a giant table.
Alerts appear in the Event Center with cooldowns and acknowledgement. They are informational. They do not terminate, restart, or modify the watched application.
Local, simple rules
Choose an application, set a memory or CPU threshold, and let RamBeacon evaluate it against local snapshots. The watchlist shows running and not-running states so a breach is not confused with a closed app.
Rules live in local SQLite settings and are not sent to the licensing backend.
- Per-application memory and CPU thresholds.
- Running / not-running state.
- Cooldown-backed Event Center alerts.
- Acknowledgement and unread state.
Designed to inform, not interfere
Watchlist breaches never trigger cleanup. They feed the same local event timeline used by the health view. If you decide to act, you still enter the process explorer, review target evidence, and approve a specific action.
