System health
One chronology for resource spikes, process changes and cleanup results.
Point-in-time metrics rarely explain what happened. RamBeacon keeps a local chronology so that a memory spike can be read next to a process start, a watchlist breach or an approved cleanup result.
The timeline is local. Filters cover resources, process changes, connections, alerts, startup changes and cleanup actions. The same event store feeds the dashboard and the JSON export.
Context instead of a single chart
RAM history includes gap handling and configurable ranges. The health timeline adds events: duplicate process groups, idle background processes, possible orphans, protected background processes, watchlist thresholds and cleanup outcomes.
Performance reports record before/after observations for approved cleanups, per-target outcomes, methodology and exportable JSON/CSV. They are observational, not causal proof.
- Merged resource and operational timeline.
- RAM/CPU history with range and gap handling.
- Before/after performance reports for approved cleanups.
- JSON export for the timeline and diagnostic reports.
Honest limits
GPU monitoring depends on Windows GPU Engine performance counters and surfaces unavailable states when the platform does not expose values. Per-process GPU attribution is not available.
Before/after memory observations describe what changed around a cleanup. They do not prove that closing a process recovered a specific amount of system RAM.
System Optimizer — power plans, service recommendations and scheduled-task review — remains planned and is shown as unavailable.
